About the show

Ukraine’s KALUSH Orchestra, winners of Eurovision 2022 with a song ‘Stefania’

This is a powerful and overwhelming wave from the Ukrainian collective KALUSH Orchestra in support of the fighting spirit of Ukrainians. After dramatically changing their mission as artists in a matter of weeks, the band found themselves able to not only entertain and represent their home country at this year's song contest in Turin, Italy, but also become the face and voice of a nation now at war.

KALUSH Orchestra's victory at Eurovision 2022 is a story of defiantly holding on to your dreams in times of incredible crisis and fighting for what you believe in. This became another proof that Ukrainians are invincible, and inspired Ukrainians even more!

They won the song contest with the song ""Stephania"", which combines rap and hip-hop with traditional Ukrainian folk music. ""This is a song about my mother,"" explains frontman Oleg Psyuk and frankly continues: ""I have never dedicated any song to her and I don't know if our relationship was particularly close in the past, but I know that she definitely deserves this song."" It's the best thing I've ever done for her.""
Since 24th February, the day of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the song has taken on a rallying new meaning - love for the motherland. Its lyrics “I’ll always find my way home, even if all roads are destroyed” is about anyone who has lost their home or been forced to flee from war.

Fronted by 27-year-old Oleh Psiuk, aka The Psiuchyi Son, KALUSH formed in 2019, when the members Ihor Didenchuk and MC CarpetMan (KylymMen) responded to Oleh’s Facebook post searching for bandmates. As a trio they create an incredibly unique mix of rap with folk motifs and Ukrainian authenticity – or as they like to call it: folk and groove - and for a bigger setup, they transform into KALUSH Orchestra, gaining the power of two additional multi-instrumentalists: Tymofii Muzychuk and Vitaliy Duzhyk. Their first single “Shtomber Womber” was released in December of 2021.

KALUSH Orchestra decided that now more than ever it is important to stand your ground, hold on to your dreams and fight for what you believe in. With a unique blend of rap, hip-hop and Ukrainian folk music, KALUSH Orchestra hopes to win hearts and minds on January 25 in Tel Aviv, honoring the country they love so deeply. The event will be held with a charitable purpose in support of Ukraine!

Join the atmospheric concert of the talented Ukrainian band - inspired, brave and invincible!
